They’re really easy to install and will make for less scratches. Just do a web search or visit an accessories store to see what you like best. These things really do protect your Blackberry from all those other things you carry around in your pockets while traveling!
2. Back up all your data before leaving. At least if you lose your phone, you have the data to start over with. Not a happy chore but one you’ll be thankful for if there is a worse case scenario.
3. Pack your charger and/or buy an international one if you are going abroad. Even if you are just going somewhere over night, you might need it. Afterall, checking emails, maps, GPS and sending photographs can all suck a lot of life out of your battery.
4. Save yourself a little money by installing Gmail Mobile. Your accounts are easier to access with the Gmail interface and it saves some money by not subscribing to Blackberry Enterprise plans too. It’s easy to use so do it.
5. Think ahead about software you might need while traveling. You may need maps or want to play a few games on the plane so be prepared. At Blackberry Geeks, they constantly review new software. Check them out and find a few new tips. They aren’t the only site and a quick google will land you on crackberry.com, berryreview.com or similar.
